$75,000 +
Commission Target Commission:
Approximately $50,000 annually based on performance Full-Time | Houston, TX We are a growing specialty construction contractor seeking an experienced Sales & Project Manager to manage commercial projects from the initial bidding stage through final completion. This is a hybrid sales and project management position. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and pricing opportunities, coordinating awarded projects, managing submittals and schedules, communicating with customers and vendors, and overseeing projects through fabrication, installation, punch list, and closeout. Experience with commercial glazing, roofing, building envelope, architectural metals, or a similar specialty subcontractor is strongly preferred. This is not a general construction project management position. Responsibilities Manage commercial projects from bidding through completion. Review plans, specifications, and project requirements. Prepare and coordinate estimates, proposals, and bids. Develop relationships with general contractors, architects, and existing customers. Follow up on bids and assist in converting opportunities into awarded projects. Coordinate shop drawings, product data, samples, and project submittals. Coordinate project schedules, fabrication, and installation. Coordinate with customers, vendors, field crews, and internal production staff. Track project costs, change orders, schedules, and overall project performance. Attend project meetings and maintain consistent communication with customers. Manage punch list items and project closeout. Identify additional sales opportunities with existing and prospective customers. Qualifications Experience in commercial glazing, roofing, building envelope systems, architectural metals, or similar specialty construction strongly preferred. Experience estimating, selling, or managing commercial construction projects. Ability to read architectural drawings and specifications. Strong organizational and project scheduling skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable working directly with general contractors, architects, vendors, and field personnel. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Self-motivated and comfortable working in a smaller, growing company where responsibilities may overlap. Compensation $75,000 base salary Commission based on sales and performance Target additional annual commission of approximately $50,000 Uncapped earning potential for strong sales performance This position is ideal for someone with specialty construction experience who enjoys both the sales side of the business and managing the work after it is awarded.
