Job Description
We are partnering with an established organization seeking a Project Manager to support a variety of operational, facility, and supply chain initiatives. This position will manage projects from initial planning through execution and closeout, working across internal teams and external partners to keep schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables on track. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable managing multiple projects at once, and experienced coordinating across operations, facilities, vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams. This is a hands-on project management role requiring strong follow-through, communication, and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities Manage operational projects from initial planning and kickoff through execution, completion, and closeout. Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, budgets, resource plans, and key deliverables. Support projects involving facility relocations, new site launches, facility upgrades, operational improvements, and supply chain initiatives . Monitor project timelines, costs, dependencies, risks, and outstanding action items to keep work moving forward. Coordinate site logistics, access requirements, inspections, equipment, materials, and other resources needed for project execution. Partner with internal teams across Operations, Engineering, Sales, Quality, Safety, Training, Customer Service, Accounting, and other functions as needed. Serve as a key point of contact for vendors, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other external project partners. Lead project meetings, communicate progress and potential roadblocks, and ensure owners remain accountable for assigned deliverables. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, status reports, cost tracking, action logs, and closeout records. Coordinate purchasing, equipment, materials, and external services required to support facility and operational projects. Track vendor and contractor commitments and follow up on outstanding items to support project deadlines. Assist with required permits, inspections, approvals, safety requirements, and other project-related compliance activities. Support project audits, quality reviews, and documentation requirements. Identify opportunities to improve project processes, reduce costs, increase efficiency, and standardize execution across projects. Maintain accurate records and ensure projects are properly documented through final completion. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in project management, project coordination, operations, facilities, field operations, or a related environment. Experience managing or supporting projects involving facility moves, new site openings, facility improvements, supply chain initiatives, or operational projects . Hands-on experience coordinating project schedules, budgets, vendors, contractors, documentation, resources, and cross-functional stakeholders. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities while maintaining deadlines and driving work through completion. Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Ability to communicate effectively with internal leadership, project teams, customers, vendors, and contractors. Preferred Background Experience supporting projects within manufacturing, construction, industrial operations, field service, technical services, or similar operational environments is preferred.
