Responsibilities:

Act as the primary liaison between clients and internal departments, ensuring clear communication and strong customer relationships throughout project execution. Develop, manage, and communicate project schedules while coordinating with shop operations and cross-functional teams to meet production deadlines. Oversee project budgets, change orders, scope adjustments, and project costs to ensure efficient and successful completion. Drive project processes from planning through completion, ensuring organization, consistency, and adherence to timelines. Review fabrication and engineering drawings to confirm accuracy, project specification compliance, and production readiness. Create detailed work-back schedules, establish project milestones, and monitor progress to maintain on-time delivery. Coordinate material purchasing and procurement activities to support production schedules and project requirements. Manage project documentation including material tickets, nesting lists, and packing lists for shop and operational use. Coordinate transportation logistics and delivery schedules to ensure timely shipment and material movement. Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to resolve issues, maintain workflow efficiency, and support project success.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience within the steel fabrication industry. Strong understanding of steel fabrication standards including AISC, ASME, API, AWS, and related ASTM standards. Experience managing ASME-certified projects is preferred. Ability to interpret fabrication drawings and understand fabrication terminology and production processes. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CAD software, and ERP/MRP systems. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize competing deadlines effectively. Excellent problem-solving abilities with the capability to perform well in fast-paced and high-pressure environments. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service and maintaining strong client relationships.
