Job Description
Project Coordinator

- Project Coordinator We are looking for a talented Project Coordinator who has a passion for quality construction.
- Assist with the development of common systems and processes to provide for proper daily reporting, job books, accounting, reporting of project costs, customer billing, scheduling, material procurement, record keeping, document control, QA/QC documentation and budgeting.
- Support the day-to-day oversight, management, and administration of the company's safety management system.
- Support the day-to-day oversight, management, and administration of the company's Quality Management System
- Assist with the development and tracking of key performance and financial metrics that will optimize performance, productivity and reduce costs.
- Work with Project Supervision to set up job structure from beginning i.e. safety, scheduling, document control plan, cost codes, job cost spread, material/tooling plan, billing, etc.
- Assist in job hand off from estimating to field project supervision.
- Work with Project Supervision on schedule, layout, change orders, etc.
- Work with purchasing on material orders and required submittals
- Provide weekly updates on project supervision as needed
- Work closely with the Project Manger regarding job forecast and financials
- Work with customer and field management on schedule development and assist in maintaining during the course of project
- Ensure the project has adequate resources to maintain schedule, budget and exceed safety expectations
- Ensure all paperwork and administrative tasks such as Daily Job Journals, RFI's, Restraints, Timesheets, Extra Work Reports, Purchase Orders, Packing Slips, Tool Reports, etc. are properly maintained and routed
- Interact with customer on project with positive long term relationship in mind
- Overall be a support mechanism for the Project Supervision and staff
- Be willing to take on multiple projects and dedicate the time and efforts to ensure a safe and profitable project with a very satisfied customer What You'll Bring
- Solid computer skills to include Acrobat, Microsoft
- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Ability to anticipate and meet internal customer needs
- Proven communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Able to travel to various project locations
- Entry level with knowledge of Project Management, Engineering, IT, Business Administration, Construction Management or related experience in a civil and/or utility electrical construction environment
- BS/BA in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration preferred but not required What You'll Get
