a { text-decoration: none; color: #464feb;}tr th, tr td { border: 1px solid #e6e6e6;}tr th { background-color: #f5f5f5;} Project Manager Doss Enterprises, LC Jane Lew, WV Lead Heavy Civil Construction Projects with a Growing Company Doss Enterprises, LC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to oversee heavy civil construction projects from award through completion. This position is responsible for planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource management, client relations, and overall project execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy construction operations and be proficient in industry-leading construction management software. Position Summary The Project Manager will manage multiple projects involving earthwork, utilities, site development, roadway construction, and other heavy civil infrastructure work. This individual will work closely with company ownership, superintendents, foremen, clients, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Essential Responsibilities Project Planning & Execution Manage projects from pre-construction through closeout. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts. Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractor activities. Review plans, specifications, contracts, and bid documents. Monitor production and proactively resolve project challenges. Manage project documentation, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contract compliance. Financial & Cost Management Track and manage project budgets, job costs, and profitability. Review production reports and cost analysis. Forecast labor, equipment, and material needs. Prepare and manage change orders and monthly billings. Work with accounting to ensure accurate project reporting. Client & Team Leadership Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, engineers, and stakeholders. Lead project meetings and provide progress updates. Support field teams by providing direction and resources needed for success. Develop strong relationships with customers, vendors, and subcontractors. Safety & Quality Promote Doss Enterprises' commitment to safety. Ensure compliance with OSHA, company policies, and project specifications. Participate in jobsite visits, inspections, and quality control reviews. Work closely with field supervision to maintain safe and productive operations. Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience in Heavy Civil Construction, Site Development, Utilities, Earthwork, or Road Construction. Strong understanding of construction scheduling, estimating, cost control, and production tracking. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites. Software & Technology Requirements Candidates must possess working knowledge and experience with: HCSS (HeavyJob, HeavyBid, HeavyJob Manager, or related modules) Primavera P6 scheduling software Vista by Viewpoint construction accounting and project management software Trimble GPS and machine control systems Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field. OSHA 30 Certification. Experience managing DOT, municipal, commercial, or energy-sector projects. Knowledge of GPS-guided earthmoving and heavy equipment operations. Technical Knowledge Successful candidates should understand: Earthwork and mass excavation operations Utility installation and underground construction Heavy equipment productivity and utilization Construction scheduling and critical path management Cost forecasting and project controls Quantity tracking and production analysis Contract administration and change management Construction accounting processes
