Our Assistant Property Managers operate differently than the traditional PM/APM model. Rather than being assigned to one Property Manager and assisting with everything in that individual's portfolio, our APMs provide c entralized operational support across our managed portfolio. Team members own defined workflows and work collaboratively with Property Managers and specialized operational teams to ensure work moves accurately and efficiently from start to finish. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys organization, execution, problem-solving, technology, and keeping multiple workflows moving without needing constant direction.
Why You'll Like This Role Clear Workflow Ownership:
Own defined operational processes rather than simply responding to whatever comes up.
Team-Based Operations:
Support the broader property management organization rather than functioning solely as one PM's assistant.
Technology-Enabled Environment:
Work with RentVine, AI-supported workflows, and specialized operational systems. Opportunity to
Develop:
Build deep property-management knowledge while developing operational judgment and decision-making skills.
Supportive & Accountable Culture:

Manage designated property-management processes across the portfolio and ensure work moves from initiation through completion.
Support Property Transitions:
Help coordinate operational workflows associated with notices, move-outs, property turns, inspections, marketing readiness, and other property lifecycle events.
Maintain Accurate Systems & Documentation:
Keep RentVine and other operational systems current, maintain accurate property records, document actions, and ensure required information is available to the appropriate team members.
Coordinate Across Teams:
Work closely with Property Managers, Maintenance, Leasing, Applications, Accounting, vendors, and other operational resources to keep workflows moving.
Track Work Through Completion:
Follow up on outstanding items, identify stalled workflows, communicate blockers, and escalate appropriately rather than allowing issues to remain unresolved.
Support Inspections & Property Readiness:
Assist with inspection, vacant-property, turn, and property-readiness workflows according to established processes.
Communicate Professionally:
Provide clear and timely communication to residents, owners, vendors, and internal team members when the assigned workflow requires it.
Identify Problems Early:
Recognize when something does not look right, investigate within your authority, and escalate exceptions before they create larger problems.
Continuously Improve Operations:
Identify recurring friction, unnecessary steps, or opportunities to improve processes and work with the team to make workflows more efficient. You're a
Strong Fit If You Have:
An active Arizona Real Estate License or the ability to meet MBP's licensing requirements for the position. Property management, real estate, operations, administrative, or customer-service experience preferred. Exceptional organization and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and workflows simultaneously. Strong follow-through—you do not need repeated reminders to complete assigned responsibilities. Comfort working with technology and learning new systems. Experience with property management software is preferred; RentVine experience is a plus. The ability to work independently while also operating effectively as part of a centralized team. Sound judgment about when to solve a problem independently and when to escalate it. A process-oriented mindset and willingness to identify better ways of working. Alignment with our core values of Speed of Trust, Integrity, Reliability, Humility, and Partnership. What Success Looks Like Success in this role means assigned workflows move consistently, records remain accurate, deadlines are met, Property Managers can rely on centralized operational support, issues are escalated appropriately, and leadership does not need to repeatedly follow up to make sure work gets completed.
