Relationship & Portfolio Manager - Helping Good People Do More Good Mark Brower Properties, a 5-star-rated real estate and property management company in Mesa, Arizona, is seeking an experienced Property Manager to own the performance and relationships of an assigned portfolio of single-family rental properties. This is not a traditional Property Manager role where you personally coordinate every maintenance request, inspection, turn, or administrative task. Our operating model includes centralized operations support, dedicated maintenance coordination, and AI-enabled systems that handle much of the transactional work. Your role is to own the portfolio. You will serve as the primary relationship manager and trusted advisor for property owners, make sound decisions, proactively identify issues and opportunities, and ensure the people and systems supporting your portfolio deliver the expected outcomes. Property Manager, You'll:

Own Portfolio Performance:

Take responsibility for the overall health and performance of your assigned portfolio, including occupancy, renewals, collections, property condition, owner retention, and financial outcomes.

Manage Owner Relationships:

Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for property owners. Communicate proactively, manage expectations, provide recommendations, and address concerns before they become larger issues.

Make Sound Business Decisions:

Evaluate property-level issues, understand financial implications, recommend appropriate solutions, and confidently guide owners through decisions affecting their investments.

Manage Exceptions & Escalations:

Centralized teams execute many operational workflows. You will step in when an issue requires higher-level judgment, owner involvement, escalation, or a decision outside the normal process.

Monitor Property & Portfolio Health:

Maintain awareness of maintenance issues, vacancies, turns, resident concerns, inspections, lease activity, collections, and other important indicators affecting your portfolio.

Drive Accountability:

Ensure commitments made to owners and residents are completed. Follow issues through resolution rather than assuming a handoff means the outcome has been achieved.

Deliver Exceptional Experiences:

Strong Fit If You Have:

An active Arizona Real Estate License. Property management experience strongly preferred, particularly single-family residential management. Strong relationship-management and customer-service skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Demonstrated ability to independently manage competing priorities and follow issues through completion. Strong judgment and confidence handling difficult conversations and making decisions. A working understanding of property-level financial performance and the ability to communicate financial implications to owners. Comfort working within technology-driven processes and learning new systems. Experience with property management software; RentVine experience is a plus.
