A Property Manager manages operations for an apartment building or complex. Recruits and screens tenants for apartments, collects rents and security deposits, responds to requests or complaints from tenants, supervises maintenance and repairs; oversees payment of bills, insurance, taxes and recordkeeping. Manages property and services on behalf of a community association, for properties such as condominiums or cooperatives. Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

LEASING MANAGER - CORONA, CA
  • FLEXIBILITY ON SCHEDULE, INCLUDING WEEKENDS
  • Sares Regis Group is seeking an experienced Leasing Management professional to float between our communites in Orange County and the Inland Empire, with our Monterey community as home property. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in the property management industry! Duties include but aren't limited to:
  • Interviews prospective residents and records information to ascertain needs and qualifications. Inputs information into computer.
  • Accompanies prospects to model apartments and discusses size and layout of rooms, available facilities, such as swimming pool, location of shopping centers and freeways, services available, and terms of lease.
  • Qualifies prospective residents, verifying applications, lease documents and related paperwork. Updates records as necessary.
  • Completes lease form or agreement and collects rental deposit and application fee.
  • Introduces resident to apartment/property procedures.
  • Promotes positive, proactive resident relations, working to make the living experience, the first and last impression, of the highest quality.
QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of multifamily leasing experience, 1+ years of Leasing Manager or leadership experience preferred. Real estate license preferred, not required. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Must be an effective listener and communicator with the ability to work well on a team. Ability to work weekends a must. Salary range is $27.00-$28.00/hour. We offer a competitive compensation package that includes a 401(K) match, rental incentive and renewal compensation, bonuses, and rental discounts depending on location. Regular full-time employees who work between 30-40 hours a week are eligible for medical, dental, vision, other voluntary benefits and vacation accrual. Sick time accrual is provided in accordance with law.
