In this energetic role, you will be the vital link between residents, property owners, and regulatory agencies, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service delivery. Your expertise in property management tools, legal administrative processes, and tenant relations will drive the success of our community. Duties Assist with daily operations of the PVV and LIHTC community, providing responsive service to residents and applicants. Support leasing, move-ins, transfers, renewals, and move-outs, including preparing notices and maintaining accurate records. Collect and review income, asset, and household documentation for recertifications. Maintain complete resident files and help prepare for compliance reviews, inspections, and audits. Track rent payments, follow up on outstanding balances, and process payments in the property management system. Respond to resident questions and concerns, document issues, and work with the Community Manager to resolve them. Coordinate maintenance requests, unit inspections, and vendor access; follow up to ensure work is completed. Communicate with housing agencies, compliance teams, and other partners about resident files and program requirements. Prepare reports, update property management systems, and assist with budgets and other administrative tasks. Apply community policies consistently while following Fair Housing requirements and applicable PVV and LIHTC guidelines. Requirements Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles, with familiarity in landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations Hands-on experience with property management tools such as Yardi or comparable systems; proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is essential Knowledge of LIHTC compliance requirements and PVV Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and in person Demonstrated conflict management skills along with negotiation abilities for lease renewals or contract discussions Experience in legal administrative procedures related to property leasing or rental agreements Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently within a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail This role is perfect for motivated professionals eager to leverage their property management expertise within a vibrant community setting.
