Maintains regulatory compliance and contributes to the financial viability of Imagine! programs. Provides monitoring and support to ensure health, safety, wellbeing, and a high quality of life of individuals on their caseload. Maintains professional relationships with all individuals receiving services, staff, contractors, and stakeholders. Essential Duties/Responsibilities Provides management of the daily operations of Imagine!'s individual residential supports and services (IRSS), including independent living and provider settings. Provides management of the daily operations of Imagine!'s non-residential services under our Class B license Monitors regulatory compliance of the independent living program as well as compliance with company policy and procedure. Ensures quality of services through staff, client, guardian and stakeholder satisfaction, in accordance with departmental mission and goals. Directly supervises Primary Residential Counselors- Responsible for hiring, training, mentoring/performance management, and disciplinary action. Responds to emergency situations on a 24-hour basis, working with Primary Residential Counselor- Program Manager, Assistant Director of Community Partnerships, and others. Responsible for providing client support and maintaining a small caseload of 2-4 individuals Monitors and responsible for programmatic quality assurance (across residential and non-residential sites), including supporting with audits, quarterly home visits and fire drills, Human Rights Committee (HRC) reporting and follow-up, HCA compliance, and ensuring staff documentation is completed Maintains current, up-to-date knowledge of all regulatory issues and changes and ensures residential program compliance with all standards and regulations, including Imagine! policies and procedures. Supervises a 24-hour, 365-day program, including fulfilling on-call responsibilities, caseload coverage, and other action necessary to meet Imagine! standards. Supports individuals with a variety of disabilities (IDD, brain injury, autism, physical disabilities, etc.) coming from a wide array of backgrounds to maintain their independence
Job Qualifications Knowledge, Skill, and Ability:
General knowledge of long-term care services and supports system in Colorado. Knowledge of rules and regulations governing the operation of Individual residential supports and services (IRSS) and HCA home care settings. Demonstrated skill in working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Effective written and verbal communication skills with individuals and groups at all professional levels. Effective and creative problem solver. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks/goals for self and others. Ability to work effectively with various technology including word processing software, internet based databases, assistive technology, etc. Possession of a valid driver's license and ability to meet Imagine! driving requirements. This position requires regular use of a personal vehicle with liability insurance that meets Imagine! standards. This position requires regular use of a personal mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet.
Training/Education:
High School diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in human services or related field preferred.
Experience:
Three years of related experience OR associates degree plus one year related experience. Supervisory experience preferred. Must be at least 19 years old and have had a valid driver's license for at least 3 years. Working Environment/Physical Activities Ability to lift 50 pounds. Effective with shifting roles, responsibilities, and expectations in a changing environment. Regular travel throughout the Front Range area. Willingness and ability to respond to emergency situations as they arise.
