This home has four (4) residents•2 men and 2 women who have autism and behavioral episodes Duties include: Assists with the oversight and supervision of staff Direct care staffing as needed. Assists with the coordination and provision of medical services Promotes the development and retention of a homelike environment, including being a role model Supports the oversight and direction of all planned services to residents Maintenance of accurate records as they relate to the operations of the house, services provided to residents, supervision of staff Participation in required meetings Assistance with on-call coverage for the home
Qualifications Include:
H.S. diploma or equivalent required. 1 year of experience working with intellectual/developmental disabilities required. Prior experience working with individuals with autism and behaviors preferred. Prior management responsibility, including staff supervision preferred. Use of a personal vehicle to perform assigned duties is required. Obtain and maintain certifications in CPR, First Aid, PMT, and DDS Medication Administration. Must have well-developed organizational and time management skills and the ability to multi-task Effective written and verbal communication skills Proficient in the use of basic office equipment and computer software
