What we need from you:

Assemble, install, and maintain mill piping and related pneumatic and hydraulic equipment, including but not limited to gauges, valves, pressure regulators. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance (PMs) on all mill machinery and equipment. Clean, lubricate, and repair bearings (roller, spherical, and taper bore), gears, shafts, and other machinery components. Safely and efficiently operate maintenance tools including lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machines to repair and fabricate machine parts, jigs, fixtures, etc. Basic electrical knowledge and ability to maintain and troubleshoot electronics, including but not limited to drives and PLCs. Rigging of rolls and equipment Operate welding equipment, cutting torches, and plasma cutters; ability to MIG, TIG, and Stick weld. Ability to fabricate parts or components from blueprints or drawings, or verbal concepts. Knowledge of pump from chemical metering to large centrifugal pumps Adhere to all company policies and procedures. Ability to read and understand blueprints, diagrams, and schematics. Other duties as deemed necessary and assigned by management.

Minimum qualifications:

Minimum of 3-5 years of multi-skill (millwright/mechanic) experience with an emphasis in paper mill maintenance, desirable but not necessary. Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English. Willingness and ability to work 8 hours shifts Monday-Friday, be on a 24 hour on-call rotation, rotating weekends, and overtime as needed. Must be able to lift 50lbs and lift up to 100lbs with assistance. Physical demands include standing for long periods of time, walking, using hands and arms to handle, feel or reach, climb, squat, bend, balance, stoop, knee, crouch, and/or crawl in confined spaces. All candidates must pass pre-employment screening, drug screen, physical and criminal background screening.
