Job Description

Assistant Property Manager FLSA Status:
Non -Exempt Job Summary:
Assist the property manager in the daily operation of the propertyEssential Duties/Expectations:
- Processes rent collections and security deposits
- Responsible for property in the absence of the Property Manager
- Assists with marketing
- Handles lease renewals
- Handles all aspects of prospective residents, to include making of appointments, verifications of applicant information, telephone interview, apartment viewing, traffic follow-up and home visits
- Processes bills
- Processes work orders and logs
- Maintains tenant accounts
- Processes move-ins and move-out inspections.
- Makes unit inspections as needed
- Assists manager with clerical work
- Performs other duties as assigned by the
Manager Minimum Requirements:
Education /Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Industry related courses
- 1-5 years of customer service, social services or other type of position that requires public contact
- Proven ability to manage and coordinate group programs
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer literacy
- Good organizational skills
- Able to deal with public
- Effective oral and written communication skills
Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid driver's license & proof of insurance
