Responsible for assisting the Property Manager with the efficient day-to-day operation of the property, including leasing, resident relations, rent collection, compliance, administrative duties, and general office operations.ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER OBJECTIVES
Assist the Property Manager with the financial, administrative, and operational components of the property. Provide professional customer service to residents, applicants, vendors, visitors, and team members to support resident satisfaction and retention. Maintain an organized, professional, and efficient property management office.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Included, but not limited to, the following job specifications contained herein. Responsible for adhering to all Fair Housing laws. Answer incoming telephone calls promptly and professionally, assist callers when appropriate, take accurate messages, and direct calls to the appropriate person. Provide professional and courteous customer service to residents, applicants, vendors, visitors, and employees, both in person and by telephone. Maintain general office organization, including files, records, correspondence, supplies, and property documentation. Assist with the implementation and enforcement of Justus Property Management's policies and procedures. Report any unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding residents or the property to the Property Manager immediately. Assist with property inspections, move-in and move-out processes, and coordination with maintenance staff as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS
Office experience and customer service experience required. Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills and be comfortable interacting professionally with residents, applicants, vendors, employees, and the public. Must be able to answer incoming telephone calls professionally, operate standard office equipment, perform general office and administrative duties, and maintain an organized office environment. Must have a valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance coverage.DRIVING/TRAVELING REQUIREMENTS
Occasional need (1% to 33% of the time) to utilize personal transportation to inspect property and surrounding neighborhood, make trips to the bank, and also visit the Corporate Office.REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve problems with no direction. Ability to interpret complex instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form.PHYSICAL DEMANDS
