Job Description
Position Overview This position supports the upkeep, appearance, and functionality of residential and commercial properties. This role involves hands-on outdoor and indoor labor, including landscaping, seasonal maintenance, light construction, and general property repairs. The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, and comfortable working in varying weather conditions. Key Responsibilities Landscaping & Grounds Maintenance Mowing, trimming, edging, and general lawn care Gardening tasks such as planting, weeding, mulching, and watering Shrub and tree trimming, pruning, and removal as needed Seasonal Maintenance Snow removal using shovels, snowblowers, and other equipment Salting walkways and driveways Leaf cleanup, storm debris removal, and seasonal property preparation General Property Upkeep Painting interior and exterior surfaces Pressure washing buildings, sidewalks, and outdoor structures Minor repairs including patching, tightening, replacing fixtures, and basic carpentry Light Construction & Repair Work Assisting with small building projects Installing or repairing fences, decks, sheds, and similar structures Using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Other Duties Maintaining equipment and tools Reporting property issues or hazards Supporting property managers with miscellaneous tasks as needed Qualifications Experience in landscaping, maintenance, construction, or similar labor preferred Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and lawn equipment Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Valid driver's license preferred Work Environment This role involves outdoor work, exposure to varying weather conditions, and tasks that require physical stamina.
