Job Description

Medallion Management, Inc. Is looking to hire a Part Time Resident Manager employee for Jamestown Apartments located in Onaway, MI. The Resident Manager will have various duties relating to the management and maintenance of the property, including but not limited to: Responsible for all day-to-day operations for property management including meeting occupancy/service/financial/compliance goals for Rural Development community.
Duties:
Leasing and renewals, data entry in compliance software, lease enforcement, collection of rents, assist in creation and implementation of annual budgets, adhere to annual budget, compliance with governmental programs, oversight and leadership of support staff, advertising and PR work, maintaining positive relationships with residents and guests, resident retention activities, participation in and follow up for governmental inspections/audits, maintaining community and preventative maintenance, maintenance of curb appeal, communication with home office/local and state governmental officials, timely submission of reports, and emergency on call duties. Ensure that all service requests receive attention within 24 hours. Ensure prompt cleaning, painting and maintenance of vacant units Complete move-in and move-out checklist with residents when requested. Maintain mulch beds and flowers as needed to achieve Medallion Management's curb appeal standards. Police grounds daily and remove trash, branches, etc. Keep all sidewalks free of ice and snow using equipment and chemicals necessary. Check and replace light bulbs on buildings and in parking areas regularly. Clean building hallways including floors, walls, light fixtures and windows as needed. Clean all common areas such as laundry rooms community room, lobby, etc. as needed.
Requirements:
