We are currently seeking candidates for a Property Manager Associate position. The Property Manager Associate is a junior level Property Management position created to develop an individual over time into a full Portfolio Property Manager. This position provides direct support to the Property Manager while also providing knowledge and training to the individual . This position provides a first row glimpse into the our ever-changing and challenging industry of HOA (Homeowner Association) Management. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who can thrive in our supportive, fast paced and fun-oriented work atmosphere, who has a passion for learning and developing in the Property Management/Real Estate field.
Responsibilities and Duties include:
Communicating with HOA members by phone, email, and homeowner portal Educating homeowners on the complexities and benefits of living in a Common Interest Community (HOA) Data entry - updating association spreadsheets, database and other documents Updating homeowner portal with current information Preparing mailings Placement and follow up on maintenance requests Assisting with project coordination Composing newsletters, notices and other communications Audit document preparation Invoice coding Filing Assisting the front desk with back up phone coverage Attendance of meetings of the Board of Directors and the Annual Meeting of the Association Assisting the Manager with creating the Manager Report and supporting documents for Board Meetings Assisting with and performing regular on-site inspections Assisting with contract research and bidding for projects and other contracts Assist with financial review and creating annual budgets Assisting the manager with coordinating services and ensuring work orders are completed to the contract's standard Researching complex issues Other duties as assigned Qualifications and skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel Strong work ethic and organizational skills as well as the ability to multitask Ability to stay focused and composed under pressure with both simple and complex tasks Talent for being a strong team member as well as working independently Experience with Homeowner's Associations, Real Estate, and/or Property Management is helpful but not required Ability to work with a wide range of people of diverse backgrounds Ability to prioritize Patience and desire to share knowledge Positive attitude and a passion for learning, fun, and being part of an amazing team! Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required. Please note this is not a remote position. Some local travel and evening meetings are required.
