Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Property Management Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will support the daily operations of property management, ensuring smooth leasing processes, compliance with housing regulations, and exceptional customer service. Your energetic approach will help foster positive relationships with tenants, vendors, and internal teams while maintaining the highest standards of property administration. Responsibilities Assist with property leasing activities, including showing units, processing applications, and upselling available amenities or services to prospective tenants Manage tenant communications via phone, email, and in person with professionalism and excellent customer service skills Support lease administration by preparing contracts, reviewing legal documentation, and ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations and Section 8 guidelines Maintain accurate data entry in property management software such as Yardi or OneSite; update tenant records and financial transactions regularly Coordinate property maintenance requests with facilities management teams and track work orders using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools Handle legal administrative tasks related to landlord-tenant law, lease agreements, and contract negotiations to ensure legal compliance and smooth operations Manage filing systems for property documents, contracts, and compliance records; assist with legal administrative processes as needed Facilitate conflict management between tenants or vendors by applying negotiation skills and conflict resolution techniques to promote positive relationships Requirements Prior experience in property management or real estate administrative roles is highly preferred Strong understanding of landlord-tenant law, contracts, and legal administrative procedures Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and conflict management abilities Experience in property leasing, sales techniques, upselling amenities or services to tenants Office experience involving data entry, filing, and general administrative support in a fast-paced environment Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy Strong negotiation skills coupled with an understanding of facilities management practices are advantageous Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to providing exceptional property management services. $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
