You will work closely with the Property Manager, communicate with residents and vendors, and help keep leasing, maintenance, and property records on track. Responsibilities Assist with rent collection, payment records, and follow-up on overdue balances. Receive, enter, track, and follow up on maintenance work orders. Help with apartment showings, applications, leasing paperwork, and lease renewals. Conduct and document routine property, move-in, and move-out inspections. Respond to resident questions and coordinate with maintenance staff and vendors. Keep files, reports, and property management systems accurate and up to date. Support the Property Manager with scheduling, administrative tasks, and other daily property needs. Qualifications 1-3 years of property management experience. Relevant leasing, housing, or administrative experience is also welcome. Hands-on experience with rent collection, work orders, and leasing or renewals. Tech savvy and comfortable learning property management software, using spreadsheets, managing digital records, and communicating by email. Strong communication, organization, and follow-through. Ability to work in person in East Orange and visit properties as needed. Familiarity with East Orange or nearby communities is preferred. Professional, respectful approach to residents and prospective tenants.

Pay:
