Two affordable senior housing communities | Approximately 126 units We are seeking an experienced Property Manager / Community Manager to oversee two established affordable senior housing communities in the Jenkintown and Lafayette Hill areas. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced multifamily professional with hands-on LIHTC / Tax Credit and affordable housing experience who enjoys managing a smaller portfolio, leading onsite teams, and taking ownership of property performance. The Property Manager will oversee approximately 126 units across two communities and will be responsible for day-to-day property operations, affordable housing compliance, occupancy, rent collections, resident relations, maintenance oversight, financial performance, and team leadership. Light local travel between the two properties is required. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations for two affordable senior housing communities Lead and support onsite administrative and maintenance team members Maintain strong occupancy and resident retention Manage rent collections, delinquency, bad debt, lease renewals, and vacancy loss Oversee LIHTC / Tax Credit compliance, recertifications, income certifications, and resident files Maintain compliance with applicable HUD, Fair Housing, and affordable housing regulations Maintain accurate waitlists and occupancy documentation Conduct routine property inspections and maintain inspection-ready communities Oversee maintenance operations, work orders, preventive maintenance, unit turns, and make-readies Monitor property expenses, accounts payable, vendor performance, and operating budgets Ensure timely completion of annual and interim recertifications Coach and develop onsite team members Utilize property management software, including RealPage OneSite Qualifications 3+ years of multifamily property management experience Affordable Housing / LIHTC / Tax Credit experience required Experience with recertifications, income certifications, occupancy, resident files, and compliance documentation Knowledge of HUD, Section 8, Fair Housing, subsidized housing, or income-restricted housing strongly preferred Experience managing property financials, rent collections, budgets, and operating expenses Previous experience supervising property management and/or maintenance staff Strong organizational, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Experience with RealPage OneSite preferred Affordable housing certifications such as LIHTC, HCCP, COS, TCS, SHCM, or CPO are highly valued Ability to travel locally between Jenkintown and Lafayette Hill Ability to work one half-day Saturday per month Benefits $68,000-$70,000 annual salary Performance-based bonus Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance
