What Does Success Look Like for This Role? Organize inspections to minimize time on site while maximizing quality. Engagement with all contractors on a highly effective, active basis to achieve reductions in cost to RENU clients, reductions in time for performance and conformance to a national standard of completed work including strict adherence to RENU procedures. Documenting all field tasks as thoroughly as possible in our systems (i.e. QuickBase and CompanyCam) to reflect compliance with platform policies and procedures Key Responsibilities Plan and schedule appointments, property visits and follow up to confirm completion. Property visits will include but are not limited to: Quality Control Inspections Move-In Inspections Occupancy Checks Move-out inspections (creating the turnover scope of work) Lockbox install/removal Meet third parties at the property (i.e. utility providers) Perform general handyman repairs Troubleshoot issues and determine necessary repairs. Inspect equipment and systems to identify problems or issues Provide excellent customer service for residents Ability to work on a regular, consistent basis including weekends and holidays as needed. Thorough knowledge of general plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs Ability to efficiently operate a smartphone and iPad Effectively communicate with various stakeholders of the business (residents, general contractors, RENU corporate and field employees, etc.) Effectively leverage RENU's technology stack (largely QuickBase and CompanyCam) to assist in planning your daily tasks, documenting your work and communicating with RENU team members as well as third party vendors. Optimize the performance of all RENU contractors in the specific areas of: Repair and Maintenance Initial Renovations Tenant Turns Leading initiatives in Operations to reduce cost, improve productivity and throughput and enhance quality. Other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking Must be physically able to climb ladders, lift up to 50lbs. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent experience Minimum one year maintenance experience preferred Strong desire to take ownership and help to maintain our national brand Organizational skills are a must along with attention to detail and the ability to handle high volume Self directed and able to manage your own time Able to perform at a high-level in a fast paced, constantly changing environment Computer literacy is a must and candidate will be required to use online company software platforms You must have your own truck, SUV, van for materials purposes You must pass a background check and be subject to repeat or random drug screens You must have a valid drivers license and adequate auto coverage You must possess a standard set of tools to perform skills/trades Schedule Day shift (8a-5p) Evenings as needed Weekends as needed
