Job Description

At FirstLight Home Care of South Jordan, we believe the best relationships are built long before someone needs care. We're looking for an outgoing, relationship-driven professional who loves meeting people, connecting with the community, and creating opportunities to make a difference. This is not a traditional sales position. It's a community-building role where your success comes from earning trust and becoming a familiar face throughout the senior care community. If you enjoy networking, hosting events, building authentic relationships, creating engaging social media content, and spending your day out in the community instead of behind a desk, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do:
Most of your time will be spent outside the office building relationships throughout our community.
You'll:
Visit assisted living communities, rehabilitation centers, physician offices, hospitals, senior centers, and other referral partners. Build genuine relationships with healthcare professionals, social workers, discharge planners, activity directors, and community leaders. Plan and host engaging activities at local senior communities. Represent FirstLight Home Care at health fairs, networking events, chamber events, and community gatherings. Create social media content highlighting community events, local partnerships, caregiver stories, and educational resources. Identify new partnership opportunities throughout our service area. Maintain consistent follow-up with referral partners and document activity in our CRM. Work closely with our owners to develop creative marketing campaigns and community initiatives. Help ensure FirstLight Home Care is the first company people think of when someone needs home care. What Success Looks Like You will be successful if: Local healthcare professionals know you by name. Facilities invite you back because they enjoy working with you. Our social media reflects an active presence in the community. Referral relationships continue to grow over time. Families consistently hear about FirstLight through trusted local partners. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Naturally outgoing and comfortable starting conversations with new people. Passionate about serving seniors and their families. Organized and able to manage relationships with dozens of community partners. Comfortable attending networking events and speaking with groups. Creative enough to help develop community events and social media content. Self-motivated and able to manage their own schedule. Professional, dependable, and someone people naturally trust. Healthcare experience is helpful, but it isn't required. We'd rather hire someone with exceptional people skills who genuinely enjoys building relationships than someone with years of sales experience. Requirements Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Comfortable spending approximately 90% of your work week in the community. Strong communication skills. Basic familiarity with social media platforms. Ability to occasionally attend evening or weekend community events. Why Join FirstLight Home Care? At FirstLight Home Care of South Jordan, we're a locally owned and family-operated business that believes relationships come first. Every partnership you build helps connect another family with compassionate care during one of the most important moments in their lives. You'll have the freedom to build meaningful relationships, make a real impact in the community, and help grow a mission-driven organization that truly cares about the people it serves.
