Transportation Program Director - Full-Time The Healthcare Consortium |
Hudson, NY Schedule:
35 hours per week; exempt position
Salary:
$65,000-$69,000 annually, depending on skills and experience

The Healthcare Consortium, a local nonprofit organization based in Hudson and serving residents of Columbia and Greene Counties, is seeking a Transportation Program Director to lead its Children and Adults Rural Transportation Service (C.A.R.T.S.) . As the director of the Consortium's oldest, largest, and best-known program, you will bring sound judgment, strong time-management skills, and big-picture thinking to the challenge of transforming the current operation into a sustainable business model. Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operation of
C.A.R.T.S.
Manage vendor and partner relationships. Lead business planning and development efforts. Promote the program through advertising and community outreach. Supervise the Transportation Program Coordinator, Transportation Program Assistant, and all drivers. Qualifications and Skills Candidates should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, experience supervising staff, and strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Comfort with Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and especially Excel is required, along with the ability to learn and use licensed transportation scheduling and billing software, navigate the internet, and use smartphones and tablets. Knowledge of Columbia County and the surrounding region is helpful but can be learned. A valid, clean driver's license is required.
