A Fiscal Director or Budget Director manages the budget and finance department of government agencies or cities. They manage the operations of the budget and finance department; including leading analysts and staff. They review and make recommendations on budget requests and options in terms of policy, programs and objectives for the agency or city while ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, regulations and statutes. They are responsible for the accumulation of data to support the development of financial analysis and budgeting, including the preparation of quarterly, monthly and annual financial performance measures.

- Ericsson is seeking a motivated Finance Transformation Intern to support the growth of its North American business. The role offers exposure to Finance, Accounting, Commercial, Operations, and transformation teams in a fast-paced environment shaped by emerging technologies, Network APIs, competition, and complex business challenges.

What you will do:
- Lead a workstream within a finance transformation initiative.
- Develop AI solutions adopted by finance teams.
- Analyze financial and operational data to help build business cases and track results against defined success metrics.
- Present findings directly to Americas Finance Leadership.
- Prepare concise summaries and presentation materials that help leaders understand key finance topics and recommended actions.
- Work alongside senior finance leaders shaping a multi-billion dollar business.
You will bring:
- Solid academic track record in pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Outstanding performance in analytical subjects, e.g. Finance, Accounting, Calculus, Economics, and related fields.
- Demonstrated leadership through internships, student organizations, entrepreneurial ventures, research, athletics, or other high-impact experiences.
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools is a plus.
- Interest in finance processes, planning, forecasting, and business performance analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Curiosity, ownership, and ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Eligibility requirements:
- 2.7+ GPA or equivalent , Uploading an unofficial copy of your transcript
- Actively enrolled in an accredited undergraduate, master's, or PhD on a full-time basis at a four-year college or university at the time of the co-op
