Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Clerk II for a full-time temporary opportunity in Tustin, CA. This role supports an R D team within a manufacturing environment and is ideal for a purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or logistics professional who enjoys vendor coordination, purchase order processing, order tracking, and inventory support. The Purchasing Clerk II will work closely with engineers, vendors, suppliers, carriers, and project teams to help ensure materials are ordered accurately and delivered on time. This is a strong opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative manufacturing and R D setting with supportive team interaction, clear purchasing processes, and exposure to cross-functional operations. Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain vendor quotes and coordinate purchasing details with suppliers, engineers, and internal project teams.
  • Prepare, enter, and maintain accurate purchase orders in accordance with company purchasing policies.
  • Track open orders, confirm delivery status, and follow up with suppliers and carriers to support timely material availability.
  • Maintain vendor records, update pricing information, and organize purchasing documentation.
  • Resolve discrepancies related to invoices, shipments, pricing, and purchase order details.
  • Assist with inventory monitoring, reorder points, and material support for R D and manufacturing needs. Compensation and Benefits
  • Pay:
    $23 to $25 per hour.
