Purchasing Clerk:
Work in a professional office environment with supportive team culture Opportunity to gain experience with industry-leading ERP systems and SAP Enhance your skills in procurement, vendor management, and supply chain operations Safety-focused workplace with clear guidelines and modern equipment What's a typical day as Purchasing Clerk? You'll be: Qualifying alternative sources of materials, ensuring compliance with internal standards Placing procurement orders with suppliers as directed by inventory management Acting as liaison between suppliers, inventory management, and shipping/receiving to ensure timely delivery of materials Processing vendor price changes and communicating with management for price increase approvals Maintaining open purchase orders and proactively following up with suppliers for timely delivery Obtaining supplier order acknowledgements and updating delivery commitments within SAP Resolving routine purchasing, receiving, and invoice discrepancies with suppliers and internal stakeholders Maintaining purchasing master data, supplier records, lead times, and pricing information within SAP Reviewing and processing supplier price change notifications Conducting MRO material invoice reconciliations This job might be an outstanding fit if you: Have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent (Associate Degree preferred) Bring at least 5 years of experience in a purchasing role Are proficient in Microsoft Office 365 products Possess knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP Demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills What happens next Once you apply, you'll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
