9681269-48430 Job Description Make a difference in the lives of students as a contract Speech Language Pathologist providing essential support in K-12 settings. This opportunity is ideal for passionate professionals ready to collaborate and contribute in vibrant and diverse school communities in and around Grand Blanc, Lansing, and Detroit, Michigan. Youll help students develop vital communication skills while working alongside a supportive interdisciplinary team.
What Were Looking For:
Current, valid MI SLP license; CFY candidates must have a temporary license SLPs with CCC preferred, but exceptional Clinical Fellows may be considered (Flint strongly prefers those with an established supervisor) Previous school-based experience or demonstrated knowledge of the needs and resources relevant to urban student populations is a major plus Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Willingness to work onsite; experienced candidates considered for virtual opportunities Availability to begin as soon as possible and commit through June 11, 2027 A copy of official university transcripts is required prior to submission for consideration
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to K-12 students Develop and implement effective individualized treatment plans Complete required student documentation and progress reports in a timely, organized manner Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and support staff for optimal student progress Adjust interventions to best meet the needs of a culturally diverse population
