Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM-5:30 PM We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing & Inventory Assistant to support our Purchasing Manager and help ensure our production teams have the materials they need to meet customer deadlines. This is a hands-on, fast-paced opportunity within a growing manufacturing company. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working with fabrics, components, and raw materials while maintaining accurate purchasing and inventory records. Responsibilities Purchasing & Vendor Coordination Support the Purchasing Manager with day-to-day purchasing activities. Source, price, and order raw materials, including fabrics, trims, and production components. Communicate with vendors regarding order status, lead times, pricing, and delivery schedules. Create, update, and maintain purchase orders and purchasing documentation. Inventory Management Track incoming shipments and verify quantities, quality, and accuracy. Identify and report shortages, damaged materials, or delivery delays. Maintain accurate inventory levels to support production schedules. Assist with cycle counts and inventory reconciliation. Production & Sample Support Pull fabrics, trims, and material swatches for sample development and customer orders. Organize, label, and maintain materials for easy access by production teams. Support production with material-related requests and inventory questions. Qualifications 1+ years of experience in purchasing, inventory management, production support, materials coordination, or a related role (manufacturing experience preferred). Experience working with textiles, fabrics, soft goods, or similar materials is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience using purchasing or inventory management systems. Ability to work on-site full-time in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Reliable, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
