Position Overview As a Purchasing Clerk at Waunakee Remodeling, you will play a pivotal role in getting our custom window and door installation projects from signed contract to installation through accurate contract review, data entry and communication with coworkers and vendors. You will ensure products are ordered accurately, delivered on time and to the highest standards of excellence. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Initiate, prepare, process, and verify purchase orders follow established guidelines to purchase materials and goods for our Window & Door Installation team. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure that product needs are met promptly and efficiently and if needed, communicate any unexpected delays. Monitor deliveries and partner with the scheduling team to ensure timely installation. Expedite delayed orders and resolve issues with changes, returns, replacements, and credit arrangements. Interact with vendors to confirm product specifications, monitor availability, and to resolve service issues when needed. Coordinate with internal finishing team to create custom Paint and Stain Work Orders as needed. Provide backup to our Warehouse team to bundle stock, confirm inventory and more. This role is not responsible for cost or budget controls. Education and Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Demonstrated success entering data and operating in multiple systems to accomplish a task. Strong written and verbal communication skills Analytical and mathematical capabilities. Work Environment The physical demands and working conditions are typical to those of an office environment. No travel required. Work is conducted at our Waunakee office. The work schedule is Monday-Friday and averages 40 hours per week. Benefits Competitive pay based on experience.
