This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in system administration, solution architecture, and network management to support a robust technology environment. You'll play a vital part in implementing automation, troubleshooting complex issues, and enhancing system security across diverse platforms and technologies. Responsibilities Manage and support enterprise-level systems including Windows Server, Linux, VMware, and cloud environments such as AWS and Azure. Oversee system design, configuration management, and architecture to ensure scalable and secure IT infrastructure. Conduct system tuning, performance optimization, and load balancing to maximize efficiency and uptime. Implement and maintain backup and recovery procedures for critical servers and storage systems. Develop scripts using Bash, PowerShell, Python or other scripting languages to automate routine tasks and streamline operations. Support software implementation, administration, troubleshooting, and upgrades for applications including Pegasystems, databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server. Monitor network security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and information security measures to safeguard data integrity. Collaborate within Agile teams utilizing DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or Git for continuous improvement. Support virtualization technologies like VMware ESXi and Kubernetes for container orchestration. Provide technical troubleshooting support across systems & applications support domains while ensuring compliance with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) standards. Qualifications Proven experience in system administration across multiple operating systems including Windows Server and Linux/Unix environments. Strong knowledge of RAID controllers, server backup/recovery solutions, storage management, and system tuning techniques. Hands-on experience with solution architecture design within service-oriented architecture (SOA) frameworks. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure along with virtualization tools like VMware or ESXi. Proficiency in scripting languages including Bash (Unix shell), PowerShell, Python or JavaScript for automation purposes. Understanding of database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server. Knowledge of network protocols including
