Have you binge-watched A&E's Flip This House ? Are you a Love It or List It fanatic who can't stop rearranging your own living room? Well, pay attention — because we have the perfect position for you. Tempe Design Center (powered by Floor Daddy Depot) is a fast-growing flooring and finish-out showroom serving fix-and-flip investors, spec builders, and interior designers across the Phoenix/Tempe/Scottsdale market. We're looking for an Operations Assistant who loves the world of design and renovation as much as our customers do — someone who wants to be in the room where flip projects come to life, keeping every order, every vendor, and every showroom detail running like clockwork. This is a hands-on, detail-driven role supporting a commissioned outside sales team, an inside sales team, and a busy showroom that runs weekly customer events. You'll work closely with the Sales Manager and sales reps to make sure orders are entered correctly, vendors are paid and stocked on time, and the CRM reflects reality — all while being part of a team that's genuinely obsessed with great design. Key Responsibilities Order Processing Enter and process customer orders accurately in FloorZap and GoHighLevel (GHL), from initial sale through delivery and installation. Track order status end-to-end, flagging delays or discrepancies before they become customer problems. Coordinate with vendors, warehouse, and installers to confirm delivery windows and install scheduling. Verify pricing, product specs, and margin accuracy on every order before it's finalized. Purchasing Place and track purchase orders with flooring manufacturers and distributors. Monitor inventory levels and reorder points for showroom stock and fast-moving SKUs. Reconcile vendor invoices against purchase orders and resolve discrepancies. Track vendor pricing and lead times; flag opportunities to improve terms or turnaround. Administrative Support Maintain clean, up-to-date customer and order records in GoHighLevel. Support the sales team with contracts, paperwork, and financing documentation (including Synchrony's promotional financing program). Help coordinate logistics for the weekly showroom event and monthly Event Center sessions. Handle general office administration — filing, scheduling, correspondence, and vendor communication. Support onboarding of new sales reps into showroom systems and workflows. Qualifications Required 3+ years of experience in the flooring, construction materials, or building-products industry, in an order processing, purchasing, or administrative role. Hands-on experience with FloorZap — this is the single most important qualification for this role. Proficiency with a CRM platform; GoHighLevel experience strongly preferred. Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail — comfortable managing multiple open orders and POs at once without dropping details. Clear, professional written and verbal communication for vendor and customer-facing coordination. Strongly Preferred Experience working with real estate investors, fix-and-flippers, spec builders, or general contractors. Prior purchasing or inventory experience specific to flooring or building materials. Comfortable in a fast-paced, sales-driven showroom environment. Nice to Have Familiarity with retail/promotional financing programs (e.g., Synchrony). Experience supporting a commission-based outside sales team. What We Offer Competitive pay, commensurate with experience (comp range to be set before posting) A front-row seat to real fix-and-flip projects, design trends, and the investor community driving them A key operational role in a growing, multi-brand flooring and design platform A fast-paced, team-oriented showroom environment where no two days look the same If you love design, love renovation, and want a role where your organizational skills actually make flip projects happen — this is it.
