DENTAL TREATMENT COORDINATOR / SCHEDULER

Acton, CA We are looking for an experienced, energetic, and highly organized Dental Treatment Coordinator / Scheduler to join our growing private dental practice. This is a key position in our office. We are looking for someone who can build strong relationships with patients, confidently present treatment plans, and maintain a productive, well-organized schedule. Treatment Coordination Present treatment plans clearly and confidently Explain treatment costs, insurance benefits, and patient portions Discuss payment and financing options Help patients understand the importance and value of recommended treatment Follow up consistently on unscheduled treatment Coordinate larger and comprehensive cases Track treatment acceptance and outstanding treatment Turn diagnosed treatment into scheduled appointments Scheduling Manage the doctor's daily and future schedule Maintain a productive schedule while providing an excellent patient experience Fill cancellations and openings quickly Confirm appointments and manage schedule changes Schedule treatment appropriately based on procedure type and production goals Maintain an active short-call/cancellation list Follow up with overdue and unscheduled patients Help keep the schedule full and productive We Are Looking for Someone Who Has dental office experience — required Treatment Coordinator and/or dental scheduling experience strongly preferred Understands dental terminology and common dental procedures Has experience working with PPO dental insurance Is comfortable discussing treatment fees and financial arrangements Has excellent phone and communication skills Is confident, friendly, professional, and compassionate Is highly organized and able to multitask in a busy dental office Is proactive — someone who sees an opening in the schedule and immediately works to fill it Enjoys following up with patients and helping them complete their treatment Works well as part of a team and takes ownership of results Dentrix experience is a plus.
