Job Summary A mission-driven nonprofit organization in Burbank, CA is seeking an Operations Coordinator Non-Profit for a direct hire, full-time opportunity supporting Human Resources, Finance, and Operations functions. This role is ideal for a highly organized administrative professional who enjoys variety, collaboration, and meaningful work that supports community-focused programs. The Operations Coordinator will work closely with leadership and department managers to support employee records, onboarding, HR systems, bookkeeping, vendor coordination, technology support, Salesforce data, inventory, and office operations. Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain confidential personnel records, support onboarding, update HRIS records, schedule interviews, and assist with HR projects, compliance, employee events, and training initiatives.
  • Perform finance support duties including bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, reimbursements, check processing, vendor coordination, and audit preparation.
  • Support operational needs including IT systems coordination, office management, mail, deliveries, records organization, and meeting or event logistics.
  • Manage tracking and distribution of organizational assets, supplies, equipment, instruments, inventory, and donated items.
  • Prepare data for Salesforce uploads, maintain accurate records, and assist with vendor contracts, purchase orders, and documentation.
  • Provide professional, confidential, and service-oriented support to employees, applicants, vendors, leadership, and internal teams. Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary:
    $45,000 to $50,000 per year.

    Direct hire.

    Full-time, non-exempt.

    Burbank, CA.
  • Work Environment:
    Primarily office-based, with potential quarterly travel to partner locations throughout Los Angeles County. Occasional travel outside Los Angeles may be required.
  • Reliable transportation is required, and mileage for approved work-related travel and errands will be reimbursed.

  • 15 paid national holidays. Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Support HR administration, onboarding, employee records, HRIS updates, applicant coordination, and employee inquiries.
  • Assist with bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, reimbursements, financial reporting, vendor documentation, and audit support.
  • Coordinate office operations, technology support, asset tracking, Salesforce data preparation, inventory, meetings, and vendor communications.
  • Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential physical and digital records across HR, finance, and operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute for up to two years of education.
  • At least one year of relevant experience required; 3 to 5 years of administrative, HR, finance, or operations support experience is ideal.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional and customer-service-focused approach.
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Ability to learn and use systems such as HRIS platforms, accounting software, CRM databases, and internal technology tools.
  • Flexible, coachable, collaborative, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Mission-driven mindset with an interest in supporting nonprofit operations and community-focused work. Preferred Qualifications
  • Nonprofit experience.
  • Experience with ADP.
  • Experience with QuickBooks.
  • Experience with Salesforce.
  • Experience supporting HR, finance, operations, vendor management, audits, or employee onboarding in a small to mid-sized organization.
