Position Overview :
Reuse Alliance is seeking an Operations & Programs Coordinator to serve as a foundational team member and operational partner to the Executive Director. As one of the earliest hires in the organization, this is a unique opportunity to help build the internal systems and practices that will support the organization's growth and long-term impact. The Operations & Programs Coordinator will help design, build, and continuously improve systems that support fundraising, membership, volunteer engagement, and overall organizational effectiveness. The right candidate enjoys creating order from ambiguity, thrives in entrepreneurial environments, and is energized by building something meaningful from the ground up. This is a part-time role (20-24 hours/week), with a mix of on-site and flexible work, including regular presence at the Reuse Hub and occasional weekend or weekend events, with the potential to grow into a full-time role as Reuse Alliance continues to expand. Operations & Administration Support day‑to‑day administrative operations and organizational coordination. Partner with the Executive Director to translate priorities into clear plans and follow-through. Build and maintain systems, tools, and documentation to support organizational effectiveness. Support basic financial administration such as invoice tracking and vendor coordination. Project & Team Coordination Coordinate weekly team meetings, including agendas, notes, and tracking items. Support project management across key initiatives by organizing timelines, tracking progress, and ensuring accountability. Help streamline communication and information flow across the team. Programs & Community Engagement Support coordination of Repair Fairs and other community programs. Assist with volunteer coordination, communication, and onboarding. Maintain a regular working presence at the Reuse Hub, having the opportunity to understand how our operations serve our people-facing work. Develop and maintain simple systems to track event participation, volunteer engagement, and donor records. Assist with events and initiatives that support the Reuse Hub and community engagement.Qualifications :
2-5+ years of experience in nonprofit, startup, or mission‑driven organizational operations Experience providing administrative or operational support to a senior leader preferred Demonstrated ability to build or improve systems and processes Strong organizational and project management skills Strong written communication skills and attention to detail Comfort working in evolving environments where priorities may shift Ability to work on-site at the Reuse Hub (2-3 days per week) Passion for environmental sustainability, reuse, or circular economy work is a plusNon Discrimination Policy:
