Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Production Assistant / Scheduler / Dispatcher, where your energy and organizational skills will drive manufacturing excellence! In this pivotal role, you will coordinate production schedules, manage teams, and ensure seamless communication with customers, The Production Assistant / Scheduler will support the Insulation Department at Progressive Insulation & Windows. This full-time role involves scheduling installation jobs, managing work orders, coordinating with field crews, and providing excellent customer service. You'll be a vital link between the office, installers, vendors, and customers to help keep projects on track.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule and confirm insulation installation jobs at least one week in advance Print and review accurate work orders daily for install teams Communicate with customers to confirm schedules, handle changes, and follow up Review and correct incoming work orders and track completion quality Collect payments on COD jobs and invoice walk-in sales Maintain inventory tracking and coordinate deliveries with vendors Support warehouse tasks, including occasional forklift operation (forklift certification a plus)
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year experience in scheduling, dispatching, customer service, or construction support preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills, detail-oriented Familiar with job management software, spreadsheets, and office tools Bilingual English/Spanish preferred Forklift certification is a bonus or willingness to get certified
Pay:
$23.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
