Job Description
CARE Communities is seeking a Property Operations & Leasing Coordinator to join our growing team in a newly created position supporting consistent, resident-centered operations across our affordable housing communities. This role brings together leasing and applicant processes, resident and property communications, documentation, and day-to-day Property Operations workflows, with a focus on creating a positive, responsive experience for residents and applicants. Compensation & Benefits Hiring Wage Range:
$23-$25 per hour Full-time position, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance Retirement plan with employer contributions Generous vacation accrual and paid holidays Tuition reimbursement and professional development opportunities Key Responsibilities Lease apartments in alignment with company policies, Fair Housing guidelines, and affordable housing laws. Serve as a primary point of contact for leasing inquiries, applicant workflows, waitlists, and move-in coordination. Coordinate resident communications related to maintenance, unit access, inspections, rehabilitation activities, and other property needs, including notices and follow-up. Maintain accurate applicant, resident, leasing, waitlist, and property records and documentation. Assist with compliance audits, file reviews, property inspections, and related documentation. Support administrative processes related to move-ins, move-outs, post-move-out activities, unit turns, collections, and other Property Operations activities. Track deadlines, documentation, and key activities across multiple operational processes. Skills & Qualifications We recognize that relevant skills can be developed through a variety of professional, educational, and lived experiences. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional relevant education or training preferred. One or more years of relevant experience preferred. Affordable housing experience is preferred, with experience in property management, leasing, administrative coordination, customer service, or a related setting also considered. Strong organization, communication, attention to detail, and follow-through. Ability to coordinate multiple workflows, deadlines, records, and priorities. Experience with Microsoft Office and SharePoint; Yardi and RentCafe experience preferred. Affordable housing or property management training or certification preferred but not required.
