Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Medical Scheduler to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, your primary role will be calling patients to register them in our system and schedule them for an appointment. We're looking for a focused, friendly person who can uphold high standards of clinical confidentiality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to efficient healthcare delivery while utilizing your strong organizational and technical skills. This position has high potential to translate to additional roles in healthcare administration at our new and growing dermatology practice. Responsibilities Schedule patient appointments accurately using ModMed, our EMR (Electronic Medical Records) Confirm insurance coverage, verify patient demographics, and update medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Coordinate with clinical staff to manage appointment flow and prioritize urgent cases effectively Handle phone communication with patients and providers using professional phone etiquette; provide excellent customer service at all times Experience Prior clinic experience in a medical administrative support or medical office environment is highly preferred, but not required Focused, tech-savvy, and efficient Excellent computer skills including Google Sheets Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially in accordance with HIPAA policies Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently Join our team as a Medical Scheduler if you are passionate about delivering outstanding patient service while supporting efficient clinical operations. Pay:
$19.00 - $22.00 per hour
