Job Description
Rocky Mountain Tech Team is an IT consulting business serving the Denver and Boulder metro area. The Dispatch Team is the team that helps ensure things don't fall through the cracks, and that daily operations run smoothly. They are the central point of contact and coordinator between many different moving parts such as customers, technicians, sales, billing, vendors, and more. The focus of this position is getting a quick assessment of the extent and urgency of the client's issue and then matching them with a tech to resolve or escalate to the appropriate team. This is achieved by fielding incoming calls, emails, or any other outreach from our customers as well as internal staff. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is optimistic, dependable, and genuinely enjoys helping people. You'll often be the first person a client interacts with when they need help; the face of RMTT. We're looking for someone who can give great customer service, make people feel heard, connect them with the right resources for resolution, and maintain a positive attitude! General Responsibilities Answer incoming client phone calls and monitor incoming emails, responding promptly/within a timely manner Accurately identify client issues/needs, gathering all necessary information, determine appropriate next steps, and route or schedule requests accordingly Schedule onsite and remote appointments with technicians, based on availability, skill set, location, and priority Set appropriate expectations with clients Communicate clear needs of clients to technicians Maintain accurate and up-to-date notes on actions/requests regarding client communications, scheduling changes, and request changes Triage client needs to appropriately prioritize requests, escalating urgent/time-sensitive issues Act as communication liaison for technicians, sales, billing, and management as needed Continuously monitor Teams chats, responding promptly to questions/requests Assist with additional office support tasks as needed May be required to lift items and boxes up to 25lbs Required Attributes A genuinely positive and optimistic attitude Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail Fast learner Friendly and professional communication style Strong team player who works well with different personalities Dependable, responsive, and self-motivated Comfortable with Outlook, Microsoft Teams, calendaring, and technology in general Strong judgement and problem-solving skills Strong organization and multi-tasking skills Ability to manage stress and diffuse situations Bonus attributes Tech savvy/interest in IT Good sense of humor Life outside of work Enjoy being a part of a close-knit team Job Position Details This position is part-time: Monday - Wednesday, 8:00AM-1PM; Friday 7AM-5:30PM with an hour lunch. You may be asked to work additional hours for various coverage needs. This is an in-office position at our Wheat Ridge office.
