This is a hands-on position for someone who is comfortable moving between different responsibilities throughout the day. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, professional, and willing to step in wherever needed to help the team operate smoothly—especially during busy production and pickup periods.

Responsibilities include:

Assist with daily shop operations and help keep the bakery organized and running efficiently. Greet customers warmly and professionally, assist with pickups, and help create a welcoming in-store experience. Serve as one of the faces of Cake Emporio and represent the brand with professionalism, hospitality, and attention to detail. Complete local cake, dessert, document, and supply deliveries, including deliveries to important clients, venues, partners, and professional contacts. Handle products carefully during transportation and ensure deliveries are presented professionally. Assist the team during high-volume periods with order organization, packaging, pickups, loading, and other operational needs. Help receive, organize, and monitor inventory and bakery supplies. Pick up supplies or materials from vendors when necessary. Maintain organization in customer-facing and operational areas of the shop. Communicate clearly with the management, sales, and production teams regarding deliveries, pickups, inventory needs, and client requests. Take initiative and assist with additional tasks as needed to support the overall operation of the bakery. We're looking for someone who is: Professional and well-presented, friendly and comfortable interacting with customers, dependable and punctual, organized and detail-oriented, able to work well in a fast-paced environment, comfortable driving and making professional deliveries, willing to help wherever needed, and able to represent a luxury customer-focused brand appropriately. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation would be important for this position. For Cake Emporio specifically, I'd emphasize that this person is not just a delivery driver or shop assistant . They're essentially an extension of the brand—someone you can trust to walk into a hotel, venue, planner's office, VIP client location, or your storefront and represent Cake Emporio properly.
