Company Overview Applied Navigation is a small, fast-moving company where finding the right person is a priority. Position Description Applied Navigation is looking to grow the manufacturing team in Sagle, ID. An ideal candidate has strong attention to detail and is excited to help refine processes. Duties include, but are not limited to: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips. Work closely with Manufacturing Manager to optimize production flow (identify bottlenecks, propose load leveling strategies, material availability, and demand volatility) Support Manufacturing Manager in tracking purchase orders and order status Maintain bill of materials (BOMs) for kit assemblies Follow planning and purchasing standards; monitor supplier and subcontractor performance Pick, kit, and pack orders for both customers and contract manufacturers Coordinate with sales and manufacturing to track and update inventory; support year-end system count Other tasks, as assigned Requirements/Education Associate degree (or equivalent professional experience) Ability to lift 35lbs Experience with purchasing, planning, or supply chain functions (PO creation, supplier follow-up, inventory replenishment) Ability to read and understand work instructions, purchase orders, shipping documents, and inventory records Strong attention to detail Effective communication skills to work across departments (in person and via email, slack, or telephone) Beneficial experience (not required) Experience in aerospace or high-tech manufacturing Experience with safe ESD handling Knowledge of inventory control Formal training or certification in supply chain management
Compensation/Benefits Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
