Job Description Essential Job Functions In cooperation with Production Scheduling and Operations, define and maintain the optimum inventory level of all direct materials. Monitor supplier performance weekly, including late shipments, quality issues, partial shipments and any other nonconformances. Send orders and releases to suppliers based on production demand and optimum inventory levels, revising weekly as necessary. Ensure perpetual accuracy of inventory records in the ERP system. Maintain appropriate ordering parameters in the ERP system. Oversee storage of purchased parts, verifying areas are organized, safe and clean. Oversee timeliness and accuracy of receiving transactions. Partner with Corporate Purchasing as needed to create and maintain blanket purchase orders and supplier master data. Support new product launches as needed. Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required. Five years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong computer skills and experience working with ERP systems. QAD experience is preferred.
