You will support a fast-paced team and learn how loans move from approval to closing. You will collaborate with internal partners and external contacts to resolve issues and keep work moving. This is a great opportunity to build operations skills and grow your career in home lending. As an Operations Specialist in Home Lending, you will perform a variety of tasks that support the transition of a loan to closing. You will organize and maintain loan files, update systems, and monitor required documentation. You will partner with underwriting and other internal teams to address issues and discrepancies. You will communicate with external agents and internal colleagues to keep loan activity on track. You will contribute to a team culture focused on accuracy, service, and timely completion. Job responsibilities Perform clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, faxing, imaging, data entry, and opening correspondence Create and maintain loan files and ensure documentation is organized and complete Partner with underwriting to support loan processing through to closing Provide coverage across support functions based on absences or volume changes Monitor and update system records and credit website information as needed Communicate with external agents and internal colleagues to resolve issues and discrepancies Complete additional tasks and assignments as needed Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Basic office and computer skills, including data entry Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Prior customer service experience High school diploma or equivalent
