Job Description

Cornerstone Wealth Planning is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations associate to manage the daily operations of our financial advisory practice. A financial advisor operations associate supports a firm's daily financial and investment operations, handling administrative tasks, trade processing, client onboarding, account management, and report generation to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery for clients . This role is detail-oriented, requiring strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage transactions, resolve discrepancies, and assist with special projects in a team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities
    Client & Account Management:
    Assisting with client onboarding, new account setup, and maintaining accurate account records.
      Trade Processing:
      Executing and verifying trades, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
        Data & Reporting:
        Maintaining data in portfolio management systems, performing data audits, and preparing reports for management and clients.
          Operational Support:
          Handling daily administrative tasks like answering phones, managing mail, and scanning documents.
            Reconciliation:
            Performing and verifying reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of cash and security positions.
              Special Projects:
              Assisting with various projects and other duties as assigned by the financial advisors or management. Required Skills

              Detail:
              Crucial for managing transactions and data accurately.
                Organizational & Time Management:
                Essential for handling multiple tasks and adapting to changing client and market needs.
                  Communication:
                  Strong verbal and written skills for client and internal team interaction.
                    Problem-Solving:
                    Ability to identify inconsistencies, resolve discrepancies, and address issues efficiently.
                      Technical Skills:
                      proficiency in Microsoft products. Experience with financial software, portfolio management systems, and data management tools is a plus but not required, we can train as necessary. Career Path & Environment

                        This role can serve as a steppingstone for individuals aiming to advance into a director role or other roles like paraplanner or junior advisor.

                            • Salary based on experience level
                            PTO:
                            starting at 14 days increasing after the first full calendar year until a Max of 25 days
                              Holidays:
                              10 per year
