Description We are looking for a Master Scheduler to join our team in Grand Rapids, Michigan on a Contract basis. In this role, you will turn customer demand forecasts into practical production plans, helping the business align materials, labor, and capacity with expected order volume. You will collaborate closely with operations leadership and planning partners to keep schedules accurate, responsive, and achievable.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with customers to gather forecast information and clarify anticipated demand by SKU and volume.
• Translate order requirements into detailed production schedules that support on-time manufacturing and delivery goals.
• Evaluate available capacity by considering production time, staffing levels, and shift requirements across operations.
• Coordinate with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to balance workload, resolve scheduling conflicts, and support efficient output.
• Monitor incoming work orders and organize them into actionable plans that reflect current priorities and operational constraints.
• Adjust schedules as business needs change, ensuring production plans remain realistic and aligned with customer expectations.
• Maintain planning visibility within NetSuite and contribute to scheduling activities associated with broader planning system enhancements when needed. Requirements
• Experience in production scheduling, master scheduling, logistics coordination, or a related planning function.
• Ability to interpret customer forecasts and convert demand data into organized manufacturing schedules.
• Working knowledge of capacity planning, including labor availability, shift structure, and production timing.
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with operations leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with logistics environments, including shipping and receiving processes and overall supply flow.
• Comfortable using business systems and data tools to track work orders, schedules, and planning activity.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced operational setting.
