Make a Real Difference — One Shift at a Time Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM Centered Care of Michigan is growing, and we're looking for an experienced, dependable, organized Home Care Scheduling Coordinator to join our team! We employ 160+ nurses and home care aides and provide care to approximately 70 patients across Mid-Michigan. Our Scheduling Coordinators play a critical role in making sure our patients have the caregivers they need. What You'll Do Build and maintain 3-month patient schedules Fill open shifts and handle call-offs, vacations, and schedule changes Contact caregivers by phone and text to secure coverage Match caregivers with patients based on needs, qualifications, and availability Communicate with caregivers, nurses, patients, and families Proactively identify staffing problems and find solutions Maintain accurate scheduling documentation Participate in our after-hours on-call rotation Support the scheduling team and general office operations What We're Looking For 2+ years of customer service experience Strong computer skills Excellent communication and organizational skills Dependable, responsible, and able to follow through Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure Strong problem-solving skills Willingness to participate in the required on-call rotation Preferred Previous home care, healthcare, staffing, scheduling experience Experience working with an electronic medical record (EMR) or scheduling system Experience coordinating employees or staffing shifts Knowledge of home health or private-duty home care We Reward Performance! Your pay can grow with your performance. Formal performance reviews and potential raises are offered at: 30 days 90 days 6 months 1 year And you don't necessarily have to wait for your next review. Additional performance-based raises may be considered at any time outside of scheduled review periods based on reliability, skill development, performance, and increased responsibilities.
