JOB SUMMARY
The Scheduling Coordinator will assist assigned facilities with staff scheduling support. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Demonstrate kindness, compassion, honesty, and integrity at all times
  • Help create a culture of superior customer service
  • Be a problem-solver
  • Responsible for helping create and maintain staff schedules and shifts worked
  • Proactively manage scheduling requirements for full-time, part-time, and PRN employees
  • Utilize the scheduling system and/or manual records of staffing assignments and changes
  • Communicate with facility and staff to fill open shifts and call-ins
  • Review and assist with daily clinical staffing to help ensure targeted staffing levels
  • Help create staffing patterns and templates to increase efficiency and staff satisfaction
  • Work collaboratively with clinical unit and operations leadership to facilitate staffing changes/adjustments
  • Assist with attendance and absence tracking
  • Assist with data collection for reporting

REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience with staff scheduling in healthcare, preferrable Long-Term Care
  • Experience with scheduling software
  • Superb communication skills
