TheRightOne is an e-commerce company in the heart of Chapel Hill, passionate about giving technology a second life. You role is crucial for ensuring every customer who orders from us has a great experience. We are seeking a tech-savvy and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all incoming and outgoing shipments including shipping out all daily orders for our customers. The ideal candidate is an independent, goal-driven individual who thrives performing repetitive tasks with a high degree of precision and integrity in a fast paced environment.
Essential Functions Shipping:
Manage the shipping of all daily customer orders, ensuring correct packaging, accurate carrier selection and labeling, and the inclusion of correct inserts.
Receiving and Quality Check:
Process all incoming inventory shipments by verifying contents, inspecting order for damage, and confirming product quality and specifications.
Inventory Identification:
Barcode and label all incoming shipments and received inventory items accurately before placement into stock locations.
Customer Returns:
Handle and process all incoming returns by inspecting products, determining their condition.
Inventory Control:
Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels through continuous cycle counting, reconciliation of differences, and proper warehouse organization.
System Operations:
Accurately utilize the company's computer software system. Qualifications and Skills Punctual, reliable, and highly organized. Coachable and demonstrates a strong willingness to learn new processes and systems. Technical proficiency with a proven ability to quickly learn and efficiently operate computers. Demonstrated attention to detail for inventory accuracy and quality checks. Effective time management skills to consistently meet daily operational deadlines. Able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry items regularly, including the capability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
