This position is responsible for handling trip reservations, coordinating
Key Responsibilities:
Answer incoming calls and assist passengers with trip reservations, cancellations, and inquiries. Schedule and confirm ADA-compliant transportation services using scheduling software. Coordinate with dispatchers and drivers to ensure timely and accurate trip execution. Maintain detailed records of passenger interactions and trip data. Provide backup support to dispatch and customer service teams as needed. Communicate effectively with passengers, especially those with special needs, ensuring a respectful and supportive experience. Monitor trip capacity and optimize route efficiency. Handle service disruptions or changes with professionalism and prompt communication. Ensure compliance with ADA guidelines and company policies.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred. Prior experience in customer service, scheduling, or transportation preferred. Familiarity with ADA regulations and paratransit operations is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in scheduling software and basic computer applications.
Work Environment:
Office-based with frequent phone and computer use.
