Job Description

The Panther Group is seeking a detail-oriented Material Control Coordinator to support a high-performing manufacturing and production environment. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate inventory control, efficient material flow, and compliant warehouse operations to support production schedules and customer demand. This position plays a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting shipping and receiving activities, and partnering cross-functionally with Production, Planning, Materials Management, and Quality teams to improve material handling processes and overall operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Receive incoming materials (inventory and MRO) accurately and in a timely manner according to established procedures Maintain inventory accuracy through proper receiving, issuing, storage, and transaction processes Label, bag, and tag materials appropriately while ensuring FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory rotation Perform cycle counts and support full physical inventory audits to maintain inventory integrity Assist with resolving invoice discrepancies in coordination with Accounts Payable and Receiving teams Support continuous improvement efforts related to material flow, storage, and warehouse organization in a GMP-compliant environment Collaborate with Production and Materials teams to improve inventory control processes and production support Provide backup support for shipping and logistics activities as needed Maintain compliance with ISO standards, GMP guidelines, and internal quality requirements Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational needs Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent 2+ years of experience in receiving, warehouse, stockroom, or inventory control roles Strong understanding of inventory control principles and warehouse processes Familiarity with GMP and ISO standards in a regulated manufacturing environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Preferred Qualifications Experience with ERP systems (Epicor or similar) Prior experience in a GMP-regulated or ISO-certified manufacturing environment Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing production environment Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset Reliable, adaptable, and detail-focused Why This Role This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative manufacturing team where accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement directly impact production success and customer satisfaction.
