Job Description

The Expeditor will play a crucial role in ensuring timely delivery of goods and services by monitoring and expediting orders throughout the procurement process.
Role specific responsibilities:
  • Track and monitor the status of purchase orders and work orders to ensure timely delivery
  • Communicate regularly with suppliers/vendors to obtain updates on order progress
  • Identify potential delays or discrepancies and take proactive measures to mitigate risks
  • Liaise between internal departments, suppliers, and logistics partners to facilitate smooth order flow
  • Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to expedite urgent orders or resolve issues impacting delivery schedules
  • Follow up on outstanding orders and expedite delivery as needed to meet project deadlines or customer requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of order status, shipping information, and delivery schedules
  • Identify and address potential issues or bottlenecks in the procurement process
Work Experience Required:
  • 2+ years of manufacturing planning, inventory management and purchasing experience.
Skills & Knowledge Required:
  • Excellent communication skills, works well with all levels of associates
  • Results driven with emphasis on keeping customer and business commitments
  • Consistently demonstrates highest level of personal ethical conduct.
  • Strong analytical skills, bias for action, and strong problem solving skills
  • Proven procurement and negotiation skills
  • Basic computer knowledges with MS Office
  • SAP experience a plus Team based work philosophy
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
